California: Day 3

We're in Port Hueneme, staying in a cute little apartment a one-minute walk from the beach. Hueneme is mostly known for the naval base here, and next door Oxnard for its farming. We spent the day driving around exploring the area- we got ourselves some fresh picked strawberries with whipped cream, and headed off - somewhere. There's lots of ranches out here and we ended up at a National Park, namely, Rancho Sierra Vista/Satwiwa as part of the Santa Monica Mountains area. It was too hot for us to venture too far, but it was really cool to see the Native American Cultural Center here.
